Supply of Multiplex Bar and Catering Services

⁠⁠⁠The Bundaberg Multiplex Sport and Convention Centre (the Multiplex) is a purpose built $30M complex on the edge of the Bundaberg Central Business District. The Multiplex opened in January 2018 and has since hosted a multitude of small and large scale events. The centre offers flexibility, state-of-the-art facilities and professional in-house services all under one roof.

The Multiplex boasts a large exhibition hall, greenrooms and two versatile Function Rooms. All rooms are air conditioned, stylish and functional with complete technical capabilities. Additional breakout spaces include a large undercover outdoor area, a spacious foyer central to all meeting spaces and a ticket booth / administration office.

The Multiplex venue capacity includes:

• Exhibition Hall (theatre - 1,500 seats, seated dining – up to 700 patrons at round tables) This space also has the ability to be transformed to an indoor sporting stadium, marked with full size basketball, netball, volleyball and badminton courts with 768-person courtside retractable stadium seating

• Function Room 1 (up to 200 patrons at round tables of 10)

• Function Room 2 (up to 70 patrons at round tables of 10)

• Function Rooms 1 and 2 combined (up to 270 patrons at round tables of 10)

• Foyer and Bar Servery (up to 700 equipped with high bars and furniture)

• Commercial kitchen.

Bundaberg Regional Council is looking forward with confidence to a continued growth in activity across all types of functions and events at the Multiplex, and is therefore now seeking a commercial agreement for:

a) The provision of exclusive in-house professional catering services and

b) The provision of non-exclusive in-house professional bar services
