ICT Strategic Procurement and Contract Management specialist

⁠⁠⁠The Digital Solutions Division (DSD) within the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) leads the department's IT application development delivery and support and provides digital solutions and services to our customers. DSD supports a wide range of external and internal facing business applications. We deliver modern platforms that connect services across the agency, integrate with whole of Government services and work closely with the Digital Transformation Agency to modernise and transform digital government services.

The DSD Finance and Procurement Services team is seeking an ICT Strategic Procurement and Contract Management specialist with extensive procurement experience, to provide expert guidance on strategic procurement and contract management for our ICT projects and the ongoing management of our systems and applications, ensuring the department’s compliance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRS’s) and Accountable Authority Instructions.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding and knowledge of ICT procurement practices, contract law, Government Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) and contract management principles. The successful candidate will need to be familiar with using a range of Whole of Australian Government ICT procurement arrangements, including Panel arrangements and BuyICT.

The successful candidate should apply their previous experience in undertaking procurements for large and routine procurement processes to deliver value for money outcomes for the department, in particular ICT procurements.

The successful candidate will work with the team and provide support and advice to senior management and agency staff on procurement and contract management.
