Scope of work

Rio Tinto are needing to relocate ~5km of 220kV Transmission Line south of Rio Tinto's Yandicoogina Mine.

Sustaining Capital is tendering a supply and construct contract for these works.

The Scope includes:

 - Supply and manufacture of towers, conductors, OPGW and misc. material in line with the Drawings needed for construction. (Insulators will be free issued by Rio Tinto)

 - Construction of access tracks and pads

 - Installation of towers, including foundation installation.

 - Stringing of overhead lines (Crossing over BHP rail in two locations)

 - Tie in works to existing lines in a 12hr shut window, 2 dedicated crews needed at either ends. Nominated date is 26-27 October 2026.

 - Removal of old 220kV Transmission Line

 - Project to be completed 31 Jan 2027
