Suppliers are invited by James Cook University (JCU) - Townsville Campus to submit an offer for 001011 for the provision of Cooling Systems Maintenance as specified in Schedule 2 – Scope of Work and per Appendix 1 – Asset Register & Appendix 2 – CDC Mechanical Maintenance.

JCU requires the services of a suitable qualified mechanical maintenance contractor, to ensure ongoing maintenance is provided to the Townsville campus Central Energy Plant (CEP) located at building 310. The CEP consists of four Trane 4.2MW Centrifugal Chillers, five crossflow forced draft 5MW Cooling Towers, various primary chilled water pumps, secondary chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, side stream filtration system, piping & valving systems. This agreement will also ensure all other building-specific tertiary pumps and standalone chillers are maintained periodically.

In addition, JCU requires annual maintenance to be undertaken to the chilled water distribution valves & pits across the Townsville site.
