The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of Sports Floodlighting and associated landscaping works at Tempest Park, Coolbellup, Western Australia.
The Tempest Park Floodlighting Upgrades project seeks to upgrade the sports floodlighting to meet the relevant Australian Standards for large ball sports training and competition.
Tempest Park, located at 16 Prospero Crescent in Coolbellup WA 6163, on Lot 2089, has an area of approximately 3.6 hectares. The site is currently home to the Coolbellup Amateur Football Club in the winter, and the Phoenix Cricket Club in the summer.
The Phoenix Beeliar Junior Cricket Club, based at Beeliar Reserve, also utilises Tempest Park as an overflow cricket ground in the summer season.
It is the Principal’s intention that the Contract shall be awarded in early November 2024 and shall commence immediately upon receipt of the contract with an estimated total/supply/manufacture, delivery, installation, and commissioning period of 24 weeks.
The Contractor will be required to provide all labour, plant, tools and equipment, materials, fees and charges, chemicals, transport/cartage etc. and anything else necessary for the completion of the proposed Contract.
Detailed design drawings have been prepared and a full statement of the construction works required under the proposed Contract appears in the Specification and Special Conditions of Contract.
The Principal will appoint an in-house Project Manager to undertake the role of Principal’s Representative.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of twenty-four (24) weeks from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend the period for a subsequent one (1) year period and up to a further twelve (12) months.
The Contract is expected to be awarded in early November 2024.
