Dru Point Timber Playship replacement

⁠⁠⁠Kingborough Council seeks fixed-price quotations from competent contractors to supply all materials, plant, and labour and any other services, costs and fees necessary to demolish and remove the existing timber play ship play equipment and rubber soft fall at Dru Point, Margate, and design and supply a similar ship themed replacement.

The replacement is to incorporate all abilities access components, and provide new rubber soft fall surround.

The successful Tender will be appointed as PRINCIPAL CONTRACTOR for the coordination and delivery of these works.

A pre-tender meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday 2nd September 2024, on site. Additional information is provided in the tender documents.

Tender enquiries should be directed via the online forum (see link below). Responses to questions raised by tenderers will be posted on the forum and will be available to any person downloading tender documents.

Tenders must be submitted via the electronic tender box (see link below). Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion. If a receipt is not received it is recommended that the Tender is uploaded again. 

Tenders will not be accepted by hand delivery, by post, by facsimile or by email. Neither the lowest nor any tender will necessarily be accepted.
