Fremantle Leisure Centre Gym Equipment Replacement

The City of Fremantle is a local government authority located 20km south of the Perth CBD comprising the suburbs of Beaconsfield, Fremantle, Hilton, North Fremantle, O'Connor, Samson, South Fremantle and White Gum Valley.

The Town of Fremantle Council was founded in 1871 and it wasn't until 1929 that it gained city status.

Today, the City employs more than 400 people and services approximately 30,000 residents over a land area of 19 square kilometres.

We pride ourselves on responsible social, economic and environmental management and in 2009, Fremantle became WA's first carbon neutral city.

In September 2014, Fremantle became one of only two councils in Australia to achieve national One Planet certification for sustainability.

The City also has a strong focus on arts and culture and owns and runs the iconic Fremantle Arts Centre and world-renowned festivals including Australia's oldest festival, the Fremantle Festival.

Fremantle Leisure Centre (FLC), as part of Fremantle City, is committed to providing exceptional fitness and wellness experiences for our members. To uphold this commitment, we are seeking proposals for new commercial gym equipment and solutions to replace our outdated equipment.

FLC is looking to find innovative and effective solutions to both upgrade our equipment and member experience through providing advanced product features and digital offerings that will elevate the fitness experience for our members and maximise the limited space while ensuring not to overcrowd the facility.

The package should include the providence of training solutions to accommodate a wide range of user.

Tenderers are required/requested to attend a Mandatory Site Inspection on Monday 26 August 2024 at 11:00am. The meeting location is Fremantle Leisure Centre, 10 Shuffrey Street Fremantle WA 6160.

FLC is looking to finalise update Changes to be completed by early 2025 and lease the Equipment for seven (7) years
