The City of Canning (the "City") is seeking proposals from experienced operators to establish and operate a vibrant, cafe style kiosk (the "Service") within the City's Civic Garden and lake area adjacent to the Civic & Administration Centre. The selected operator (the "Respondent") will enter into a Services Agreement (the "Agreement") to deliver these Service.

The City's objectives for the Service are to:

Provide a quality cafe offering to the local community, including City staff, businesses, park users and commuters.

Activate and enhance the utilisation of the beautiful yet underutilised Civic Garden space.

Offer excellent coffee and simple food choices, with operating hours of at least 7am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.

Briefing/Site Inspection (Mandatory)

Attendance at this meeting is mandatory.

Failure to attend this briefing will render the Respondent ineligible to submit a Tender.

Respondents are required to attend a Tender briefing on:

Tuesday, 27th August 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (AWST).

The location of the meeting is at:

Canning Town Hall, Cnr Wharf Street & Albany Highway, Cannington

The briefing will provide Respondents with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.
