Tender Description
The City of Fremantle is seeking submissions from experienced, suitably qualified, and skilled registered building contractors to tender the delivery of reactive building maintenance and minor building works across the city's portfolio of assets. The City has a wide variety of assets, including; public sporting change rooms, public ablutions, commercial spaces. The City also manages Heritage sites, including; Fremantle Arts centre and Arthur's head precinct.
The works are managed through the Building Maintenance department, which is part of the wider Infrastructure Directorate. The successful tenderer will be required to interact and liaise with various internal city departments as well as the numerous tenants and community organisations that the frequent the city's buildings.
General Building Maintenance incorporates all general building maintenance disciplines.
The scope of this contract includes but is not limited to the following disciplines.
• Carpentry, timber flooring including heritage floorboards, joinery and doors
• Repair of fixtures and fittings (internal and external)
• Lock and latch repairs
• Cabinet Making
• Door removal and replacements
• Glazing and Window frame repairs
• Bricklaying, Paving, Limestone and block laying
• Tiling
• Metal Fabrication
• Roofing works
• Painting
• Plastering
• Ceiling fixing
• General labour service
• Fencing repairs and maintenance
• Other minor building works as required
