Waste Removal Services

⁠⁠⁠The University of Canterbury (“the university”) (UC), UniLodge, and the University of Canterbury Students Association (UCSA) currently manage individually the removal of waste for each respective entity.

Combining the three organisations waste removal into one large procurement opportunity will create efficiencies and synergies that all three organisations will benefit from. This is also an opportunity to reduce our combined environmental impact. The Successful Respondent will:

a. has the capacity, capability, experience, attitude, and resources to deliver the waste removal services successfully; and

b. use innovative solutions to ensure that the three client organisations achieve their respective sustainability goals.

c. the situation may transpire where a specialist provider may be able to offer innovative solutions in the removal of a particular waste stream(s). To that end the waste removal services may be split between two suppliers
