Sale and Removal of Vessel The Big Warrington from Two Rocks Marina

⁠⁠⁠The Item for purchase and removal is the Vessel ‘The Big Warrington’ (vessel registration: AQ124).

The Vessel ‘The Big Warrington’ is currently stored on hard stand at the Department of Transport (DoT) Two Rocks Boat Lifting facility located at 1 Pope Street, Two Rocks WA 6037.

‘The Big Warrington’ has been on hard stand at DoT Two Rocks Boat Lifting since approximately 2019, prior to the Department taking over operations in December 2021, and there is outstanding hard stand fees owed to the Department.

The Item is being sold via approval from the Australian Financial Services Authority, the trustee in bankruptcy of the owner of the Vessel, so that it can be removed from the hardstand at the Two Rocks Marina. DoT is seeking offers for the purchase and removal of this vessel. The vessel is considered to be unseaworthy and in poor condition, in its current state.

A site visit will be held at DoT Two Rocks Lifting, 1 Pope Street, Two Rocks.

Inspection of the Item is not mandatory, however, when determining whether or not to undertake an inspection of the Item, the Tenderer should take into account the conditions set forth in Part One, Clause 4.12(c).
