Tender Description
Council requires the Principal Contractor to undertake civil reconfiguration works at the Dicky Beach Holiday Park, located at Beerburrum Street, Dicky Beach.
The Sunshine Coast Council invites tenders for the upgrade and associated works for powered sites in the northwest corner of the Dicky Beach Family Holiday Park. This project involves the upgrade of 16 existing powered sites which includes upgrading the asphalt access road, road lighting, upgrading water and drainage services, and the installation of a concrete sleeper wall.
The key components of the project are as follows:
• Mobilisation and demobilisation of site facilities.
• Project management and supervision.
• Health, safety, and environmental management.
• Site clearance and preparation for construction activities.
• Ongoing site maintenance and rectification of any issues
• Bulk earthworks including cut and fill operations to prepare the site.
• Soil stabilisation and compaction.
• Construction of concrete sleeper retaining wall.
• Construction of a new asphalt access road including kerbs.
• Construction of caravan pads as detailed, including CBR45 base, synthetic turf, and reconstituted plastic sleeper to edge the synthetic turf.
• Installation of stormwater drainage systems including modification of the existing system.
• Ensuring proper site drainage to prevent waterlogging.
• Installation of new potable water supply systems to service the camp sites.
• Sanitary drainage reticulation and fittings, including sullage pits to campsites.
• Installation of electrical infrastructure including power supply to camp sites and road lighting
• 'B-Grade' standard turf to designated areas, including the provision of ongoing maintenance.
• Installation of bollards and fence on the concrete sleeper wall.
• Supply and installation of Geohex base to all campsite areas excluding the caravan pads.
• Comprehensive testing and commissioning of all installed systems and infrastructure as documented in the pricing schedule.
Council requires practical completion by 6 December 2024. Respondents are to provide a detailed Program of Works.
Site Visit
A site visit will be held at Dicky Beach Holiday Park, Beerburrum St, , Dicky Beach at 20 Aug, 2024 12:00 PM . Respondents required to register their attendance via email to tenderenquiries@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au.
All attendees are required to enter through the front entrance and sign in at the Reception office as a park visitor
