Pavement Strengthening and Widening from Ch. 334.450km to Ch. 339.850km of the Stuart Highway within the Katherine Region. The upgrade is to establish a 9.0m sealed carriageway on a 10.0m wide formation within the extents of the current road alignment. The length of works includes two intersections and two existing culverts.

Works include upgrades to the intersections of Stuart Highway and the Ross Road and RAAF Tindal Access side roads. It also includes the upgrades to the two existing culverts located at Ch. 335.141km and Ch. 338.818km. The two intersection upgrades will include the improvement to the sight distances and safety concerns for the Stuart Highway, Ross Road and RAAF Tindal Access users.
