The Department of Transport is developing a Heavy Vehicle Decarbonisation Strategy concentrating on light to medium rigid trucks. The Heavy Vehicle Decarbonisation Strategy will focus on both the transition of the fleet to battery-electric trucks (BETs) and the charging interface issues with, and demands on, the electricity sector.
