Tender Description

Redland City Council (RCC) requires a Principal Contractor for the construction of the Redlands Performing Arts Centre forecourt and associated works at Middle Street, Cleveland, Redland City.

The work to be performed under this Contract comprises of the provision of all materials, plant/equipment, labour and the performance of all operations necessary for the supply/delivery, installation and construction, supervision and certification for the proposed works/services, which include but are not limited to:

  • Obtaining the relevant Building and plumbing approvals
  • Demolish and removal of the existing forecourt roofs,
  • Retain and protect the existing feature trees on the RPAC footpath;
  • Construction of:
  • New Stairs, ramps and access points,
  • Building
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Landscaping.
  • Reconfiguration of the pedestrian access to the main buildings including associated civil and landscaping works;
  • Awning and trellis construction;
  • Alfresco deck and seating;
  • Lighting upgrading;
  • Stormwater drainage treatment;
  • Electrical upgrade;
  • Signage.
  • Construction to be in accordance with all associated statutory approvals / permits / duty of care that have been identified and are to be obtained;
  • Permits and management plans;
  • Referring to Appendix D for construction drawings;
  • Procurement and supervision of suitable sub-contractors;
  • Expansion/modification of existing assets as per drawings and supporting documentation; and
  • As Constructed data Capture.
