Tenders are invited for the provision of full service landslip remediation works for Sunshine Coast Council at First Bay, David Low Way, Coolum Beach. The works are being delivered under the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA).

This is a lump sum contract with an anticipated Practical Completion date of 30 May 2025. Council does not have a preference with the staging of the work, however, a clear staging methodology with completion of each stage is required. In addition, the Contractor must provide and apply a detailed methodology for the management of the project, considering traffic control, public and school holidays and other non-work periods to ensure delivery of the project on time. Council will consider ‘Night Works’ construction subject the Contractor securing all relevant approvals prior to commencement of works.

All works will be awarded to one Principal Contractor. With that Contractor undertaking to comply with the obligations of a Principal Contractor under WH&S Act and the WH&S Regulation and will be responsible for the management and control of the workplace for all operational activities, ensuring the Site is maintained in a safe and trafficable state at all times, whilst minimising traffic congestion and potential delays.

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

• Preliminaries including, Internal and external structural surveys and dilapidation reports
• General earthwork site preparation, demolition and stripping
• Construction of shear pile wall
• Installation of barriers, drainage, footpath and line marking
• Installation of pavement
• Vegetation rehabilitation

The scope of work includes the provision of all materials, labour, plant and equipment necessary for the completion of all works in accordance with the issued design and associated documents.

Council will not be conducting a Site Information session. Respondents are encouraged to visit the Site to familiarise themselves with job requirements prior to submitting a tender.
