Tender Description
The City of Kalamunda (the City) is planning to redevelop or build a series of new sporting pavilions/buildings and a Men's Shed within Hartfield Park, Forrestfield as part of the overall Hartfield Park Master Plan.
The planned projects within this current scope are:
1. New AFL / Little Athletics Pavilion, Carpark and Oval Access Road
2. New Football (Soccer) change rooms, storage and UAT
3. Refurbishment of existing Rugby League Pavilion and expansion for new Change Rooms and Storage
4. Expansion and Redevelopment works to create a co-located Tennis and Bowls facility
5. New Foothills Men's Shed workshop and attached amenity space
It anticipates that the Men's Shed will be undertaken by a 'Design and Construct' building contractor which is currently out to market for pricing.
Similarly, it is anticipated that by August 2024 a 'Design and Construct' tender will be called for a modular transportable type building to service the needs of the Football (Soccer) change rooms and storage.
Finally, the remaining projects are to be delivered by a single building contractor under a traditional fully documented design / firm tender construction contract with Tenders proposed to be called in October 2024 and works commencing early 2025.
The City is seeking to appoint a specialist Consultant to act as Superintendent within the requirements of the D&C contracts (AS4902) and the Construction contract (AS4000) during the construction works and defects liability periods.
