Project goals
The Workplace Services Management System (WSMS) is a critical application for SafeWork NSW, a regulator within the NSW Department of Customer Service (DCS). WSMS is widely used across SafeWork NSW and the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA).
WSMS contains approximately 260 GB of data, 750 individual tables 12,000 fields and is a highly customised solution based on the Pivotal contact centre module.
WSMS is a bespoke system built on Pivotal Software and is the main inspectorate CRM database for SafeWork NSW. The legacy system has been in use since 2001 and has been highly customised during this period to respond to changing legislative requirements and business process changes.
Scope
The supplier will be required to provide blocks of days that are used to enhance the system. These blocks vary in time, but an indicative requirement is for multiples of consecutive days for up to a 3-month period. As an example, we need to be able to engage development services for 5 days per week for 2-3 months to assist us to design, develop and deliver changes to the system. This may happen many times per year.
