The work consists of a series of street-by-street watermain renewals within Koutu, Rotorua consisting off the following,

- Most existing AC mains are to be retained with all existing household water connections renewed.

All existing connection points will be inspected, the tapping band will be replaced if any ""greening"' of the band is present. New talbots to be installed onto every connection.

- All existing road crossing laterals are to be abandoned and plugged at the main, the tapping band will be replaced if any ""greening"' of the band is present.

- New rider mains with new household connections are to be installed.

All above works includes connections to existing water mains, commissioning of new mains, decommissioning of any abandoned pipework.
