The City of Melville ("City") is seeking to establish a suitably qualified and experienced Panel of Pre-qualified Suppliers for the supply of building refurbishment services for an initial term of two year with three additional 12-month option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City.

The City intends to divide the Panel into two categories. The Respondent can apply for one or more categories.

Category 1 General $25,000 To $200,000

Category 2 General $200,001 To $550,000

If none of the Pre-qualified Suppliers in the category or categories selected are able to provide the service within the required timeframe, the City reserves the right to seek the services of a contractor outside of this Panel.

Unless directed otherwise by the City's Representative, works the City believes (at its sole discretion) fall in the following categories are excluded from the Panel:

• New buildings
• Design and construct projects
• Maintenance work
• Specialist work
• Works requiring a single trade
• Projects below $25,000
• Projects over $550,000

Examples of potential projects over the next 18 months might include:

• 4 Hickey Street Building Upgrade, General $25,000 to $200,000
• Civic Centre Balcony Waterproofing, General $25,000 to $200,000
• Operations Centre Office Refurbishment, General $200,001 to $550,000
• Piney Lakes Refurbishment, General $200,001 to $550,000
• Changeroom Upgrades, General $200,001 to $550,000
