Scrap Metal Transport and Recycling Services

⁠⁠⁠SERVICE REQUIRED:

Shellharbour City Council invites submissions for suppliers to provide a submission for the provision of receptacles, and the collection and recycling of scrap metal.

The Community Recycling Centre at the Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot (DRWDD) accepts a range of items for recycling from customers, including:

• Scrap Metal
• Lead acid batteries (household and vehicle)

Operating Hours

The DRWDD is currently open:

7:30am to 4:00pm Weekdays

8:00am to 4:00pm Weekends and Public Holidays

Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday

Access to the Scrap Metal receptacles will be in alignment with the DRWDD opening hours.

COST OF TENDER: NIL

CD copy $100.00 inc. GST

SUBMITTING TENDER:

i) Tenders can be submitted in electronic format through Council's e-tendering portal in the format required by the tender documents.

REMINDER:

Ensure ALL files are uploaded to the Electronic Tenders Box PRIOR to the time and date above.

PLEASE NOTE: The ETB closes automatically at this time - file transfers still in progress at the exact closing time WILL NOT be accepted and you will not receive an automatic "successful submission" notice.

DO NOT leave your submission to the last minute. As a guide you should begin your file transfer at least 1 hour prior to closing time.
