The Council of the City of Sydney (the City) invites tenders for the carrying out of Installation and Dismantlement of Street Banners in accordance with this Request for Tender.

The City is responsible for the management of a street banner network throughout the City of Sydney area. City Banners promote festivals, sporting, arts, charity, business and cultural events open to the general public, as well as community messaging

The City is seeking a supplier to:

- Receive and store printed banners until installation date

- Install Simple (one design) and Complex (multiple designs) banner campaigns, as per the provided sequencing instructions

- Dismantle banner campaigns

- Return banners to hirers OR store until they are picked up for recycling by the City's supplier

- Store City-owned banners until they are next required (for example, Christmas banners to be stored after dismantling in January and until installation in November). Based on historical data, the indicative quantity of banners requiring long term storage is approximately 3,500

- Wash, label and pack banners (optional).

The Term of the Agreement is for a two-year period.

The City will hold a public online tender briefing via Teams at 12:30pm on Thursday 27th June 2024 (maximum 1 hour). Any tenderer wishing to attend the briefing session must register their interest with the City’s Contact Person, crivilloosborne@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au by midday on Wednesday, 26th June 2024.
