ABOUT THE CITY OF COFFS HARBOUR (City):

Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is a thriving regional coastal city of approximately 73,000 people and enjoys a unique lifestyle created by its geography and climate. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.

ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR TENDERS (RFT):

The City is seeking Tenders from operators of appropriately licenced waste transporters who are able work with the City to provide haulage services for certain of the City's waste materials.

This RFT is intended to provide potential respondents with information relevant to this opportunity and confirm the City's intentions to enter into formal contractual agreements with one (1) or a panel of waste transporters that have the capacity to haul the City's wastes into the future, in line with the RFT documents and any conditions subsequently negotiated between parties post close of the Tender period.

The Term of the non guaranteed supply contract being offered by the City, is intended to be for a period of two (2) years with an optional one (1) year extension, (2+1 year option). Commencement for haulage of wastes is intended from circa 2 September 2024.
