Narrandera Shire Council is seeking quotations for the interpretive fit-out of the discovery space in the above facility to be undertaken in two stages. A brief scope has been developed for the project which is to be used as the basis for the quotation.

Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be sequential but are separated pending the availability of a funding allocation to progress Stage 2.

It is anticipated that the cost of Stage 1 will not exceed $250,000 and that the maximum cost of Stage 2 will be $200,000.

Council reserves the right to not accept tenders for Stage 2.

Council is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Contractor for supply and install of all materials and labour required for delivery in the two stages that must include:

1.1 Stage One:

Intro Panel:

• DesignerPly AB Birch panel (800mm W x 2100mm H x 27mm D).

• Printed vinyl with clear over-laminate.

• Provision for 6x clear A4 brochure holders.

• Front and rear feet in 10mm thick folded steel, finished in silver powder coat.

Wall Mounted Interpretive Panels (Themes 1-4):

• Four panels per theme with printed graphics and clear overlaminate.

• Theme 1 includes an artefact display case and an interactive touchscreen with custom content and narration.

• Content creation for Brightsign digital display is included.

Island Unit:

• Constructed with CNC machined MDF carcase, white two pack paint finish.

• Graphic panels printed on self-adhesive vinyl with clear over-laminate.

• Tactile interactive area with stainless steel trays and A4 snap frames, plus Echopanel for sound suppression.

• Overall size: 2890mm L x 2200mm W x 2400mm H.

Touchscreen Table Unit:

• CNC machined MDF carcase with white two pack paint finish.

• Red Gum timber slats with satin clear coat.

• Includes 1x 50” touchscreen with regional information content.

• Overall size approximately: 1700mm L x 1185mm W x 850mm H.

Big Guitar Part 1:

• PC sum allowance for custom-made brackets.

• Precise measurements taken during project initiation and site measure visit.

• Installation of guitar.

• Sensor-activated projection mapping.

1.2 Stage Two:

Theatre:

• Stylized trees mounted along walls and ceiling, along with a screen wall.

• Screen wall for 3x digital screens.

• Bench seats with integrated media player and complete theatre system.

• Price allowance for script development, onsite filming, and editing/postproduction.

Immersive Experience:

Creation of an immersive experience provided through the use of contemporary technologies that provides visitors with a unique experience that is consistent with the physical, environmental and/or historical features of Narrandera Shire.

The importance of this experience cannot be overstated.

It is anticipated that the experience will be available to visitors in the central space of the facility and be the centrepiece of the broad visitor experience delivered by the facility. It is intended that this immersive experience will be an iconic feature that separates the Narrandera Visitor Information Centre from all others.

• Management of production, installation phases, and subcontractors.

• Liaison with project architects.

• Internal meetings and administrative costs.

• SWMS creation for installation.
