Kirwan Community Health Centre Expansion - D&C Building Contrator

The State of Queensland through Queensland Health, Health Capital Division (HCD) on behalf Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from suitably qualified D&C Building Contractor to construct the Kirwan Community Health Centre Expansion (the Project).

The successful Contractor will deliver the Project via a Non-traditional Design and Construct methodology utilising AS4300 General Conditions of Contract and associated Special Conditions of Contract and Annexures, with regards to the following:

• Site preparation
• Detailed Design finalisation and Construction Documentation
• Early works, completion of the new on-grade car park
• Early works, removal of the tree located on the northeast side of the new facility. Council approval received, community engagement/notice, replanting/make good and removal required.
• Construction of the new two-storey health facility to house the Maternity and Oral Health services.
• Green Star 5 rating to be achieved for the new facility.
• Upgrade to roads and pavements (walkways and on-grade links associated with the new building).
• Site electrical upgrade to support the new facility.
• Ergon upgrade and new connection agreements to support the new facility.

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at Kirwan Community Health Campus, 138 Thuringowa Drive, Kirwan at 20 Jun, 2024 10:00 AM . Attendance is mandatory, interested parties are requested to nominate who will be attending via the EOI Contact Officer (refer section 11) by return email by close of business Tuesday 18 June 2024.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
