Tender Description
The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably experienced Events Management Service Provider (EMSP) for the delivery of a two-day arts and cultural festival along the Cockburn Coastline in March 2025 with the possibility for extension into 2026.
The key requirement is to develop and deliver a unique and innovative event, ‘Coogee Live,’ in March along the Cockburn Coastline from Omeo Park to Coogee Beach Reserve.
The creation and delivery of the 2025 event sits within a 7/8-month period and aims to:
- Provide exposure and opportunity for engagement with multiple artforms and deepen cultural dialogues, for everyone.
- An accessible and inclusive experience that creates a sense of place and enriches our community.
- Provide an opportunity to be bold and innovative in the delivery of event/s (committed to leading in carbon neutral, sustainable and waste wise events).
- Showcasing Cockburn, the best place to be.
The event will explore projections, artworks and entertainment in line with the events vision to establish an enduring event where the City of Cockburn’s creativity and community spirit are on full display.
This flagship festival harnesses the energy and passion of local groups, fostering deep connections and showcasing the social value of our community's talents. By drawing visitors to our stunning coastal setting, we enhance the cultural landscape, stimulate tourism, and build a foundation for ongoing collaboration and engagement, ensuring the festival's legacy as a beacon of local pride and creativity.
Coogee Live is the City of Cockburn’s flagship event and has been running since 2018 with an online audience reach of 1,432,610 in 2023.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of one (1) year from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend up to one (1) year; the Contract is expected to commence in August 2024.
