Establishment of a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for Provision of Towing Services in the Townsville District

⁠⁠⁠ITO QPS19838 - Establishment of a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for Provision of Towing Services in the Townsville District.

Suppliers are invited to submit an offer to Invitation to Offer (ITO) No QPS19838 for the Establishment of a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) for Provision of Towing Services in the Townsville District. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) seeks responses from established and suitably experienced towing services suppliers with a proven track record in the provision of towing and storage services who can provide a highly professional, ethical, and responsive service, and be compliant with all relevant legislation and regulation. The new SOA for the Townsville District may entail a panel of suppliers at QPS’s discretion, and the scope of services will include the towing of stolen vehicles located, at QPS expense.

Suppliers must agree, and be able, to provide the towing services in the Townsville Metropolitan Divisions (Mandatory). Suppliers may elect to also provide the services to Townsville Country Divisions (Optional). The scope of services includes both:

• Police Authorised Towing and Storage Services for Motor Vehicles
• Motor Vehicle Impoundment (MVI) Towing and Storage Services.

Details of the standards and specifications for the requested services are provided in Part B: Schedule 1 - Requirements.

QPS will conduct an industry briefing for prospective offerors at 9:00 am, Tuesday 11 June via a Microsoft Teams meeting (refer to details in Part A, Section 1.4). The industry briefing is not compulsory, but suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend.
