Whitsunday Coast Airport - General Aviation Building Lease

⁠⁠⁠The Whitsunday Coast Airport ‘the Airport’ (located at Lascelles Avenue, Gunyarra, QLD 4800) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Aviation Operator to occupy a newly constructed facility at the general aviation area of the Airport to conduct their business activities.

The newly constructed facility is a 72m2; building with a customer facing setup/office space, large deck, toilet facilities and Airside access gate.

The Lessee must provide goods and/or services relevant to general aviation activities.

The Lease will be offered for a 3-year period with a 2-year option to renew at Council's sole discretion and there will be turnover profit payable to Council for sales made by the Lessee. Landing Fees for the Lessee's aircraft movements are also applicable.

An adjoining storage shed (approx. 20m2) with internal Airside access may also be leased by the Lessee if they require the extra storage space.

Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) will provide the leased area as a warm shell. The Lessee's must provide the remainder of the fit out with all signage and aesthetics to be in line with the Whitsunday Coast Airport Rules.

Note: A non-mandatory Tender Briefing has been arranged for 9:00am, Tuesday, 28th May 2024 meeting at the General Aviation Building, Lascelles Avenue, Gunyarra, QLD 4800 (located approximately 900 m from the Whitsunday Coast Airport Terminal). Please confirm your attendance at this meeting via contracts@whitsundayrc.qld.gov.au no later than 12:00pm Monday, 17th May 2024. Please ensure all personnel attending the Tender Briefing have the following PPE, as the Building is a Construction Site at present:

Hi Vis clothing; and Enclosed shoes.
