IMS Coordinator and WPH&S Services

⁠⁠⁠Balonne Shire Council (The Council) is seeking a specialized entity to assist with their Workplace Health and Safety obligations.

The entity maybe any legal Australian business or Individual and will provide the services of a full time (minimum 38 hours per week based at St George) Integrated Management System (IMS) Coordinator.

The entity, through the IMS Coordinator, will assist Council meet their obligations with the Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations 2011, Occupational Health & Safety Management System ISO 45001, Quality Management System ISO 9001 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001.

The Council has had accreditation with the above-mentioned management systems for many years. It is expected the entity will continue to manage and maintain all ISO management systems and Councils WPH&S systems to ensure continued accreditation and compliance.

The entity will provide technical support, oversight and backup to the IMS Coordinator together with housing at St George, a suitable vehicle, communications and other necessary resources to enable effective discharge of the IMS Coordinator duties.
