Supply and Installation of Primer Seal

The Principal is seeking to appoint a Contractor to provide primer sealing of pavement services in accordance with the requirements outlined in this document.

The Contractor will be required to provide rates for both Full service and Supply and Spray only. Works will be issued via Purchase Order, dependent on the requirements of the Principal and as described below:

Full service: the Contractor will provide all labour, plant and equipment, materials, chemicals, transport/cartage, supervision/administrative costs, travelling expenses etc. for the supply, spray and cover of single coat emulsion Primer Seal and aggregate spread.

Supply and Spray only - the Contractor will provide chemicals, materials, spreader truck and spray truck (including operator and travel).

It is estimated that during the contract term approximately 20,000m² of pavement will require a primer seal annually, in accordance with the City’s road works program. The schedule of works and timing will be made available when the year’s works program schedule has been finalised.
