EST07721 Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare – Market Sounding

⁠⁠⁠The Project will support ship to shore data transfer, and data storage; and provide building infrastructure to house analysis, simulation, and training facilities in support of maritime electronic warfare capability.

At the time this Market Sounding is published, the Commonwealth anticipates that the scope of the Project will be as set out below.

a) Facilities are required at a Defence site in Adelaide, SA for centralised data storage, data processing, testing and assessment.

b) Facilities are required at Defence sites in Sydney, NSW, and Perth, WA to accommodate Navy fleet access for physical ship-to-shore data transfers.

c) Facilities at all sites are required to support personnel in activities including planning, training, and operational functions on the network.

d) The facility and associated infrastructure requirements to support the introduction of Navy capability are broadly categorised into the following:

                      i. Facility Type A (Adelaide): Data Centre, anechoic chamber and supporting facilities, testing, training, planning, office support and carparking facilities. Facility Type A will be the ‘centre of excellence’ and primary data storage location and include laboratories, workspaces, conferencing, and meeting rooms.

                     ii. Facility Type B (Perth and Sydney): Data exchange and onsite storage capability, including planning, analysis, training, office support facilities and carparking facilities.
