Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Sunshine Coast Council is seeking an experienced Contractor to provide design coordination and construction services for the successful delivery of two (2) new clubhouses at Caloundra South.

This is a Lump Sum Design and Construct Contract for two (2) sports clubhouses located at Caloundra South. Council will be awarding both Part A and Part B to one contractor.

Part A is for the design and construction of Neighbourhood Sports #2 Clubhouse (NS2)

Part B is for the design and construction of District Sports #1 Clubhouse (DS1)

The project consists of the following.

Design Works will include, but not be limited to:

• Preliminary Design.

• Detailed Design.

• Design review meetings.

• Obtain any required permits and approvals.

• Plumbing and building approvals including associated fees.

Construction Works will include, but not be limited to:

• Site preparation

• Construction, fit out and commissioning of clubhouse building, shed storage and waste compound.

• Landscaping, drainage works and pathways.

• Environmental management of the site including erosion and sediment control.

• Site management including safety; traffic and pedestrian management.

• Commissioning and certification, provision of handover documentation including ADAC.

• Maintenance period 12 weeks (Softscape elements) and 52 weeks defects liability period (All elements).

A briefing session will be held at Nirimba Clubhouse , Nirimba Sports Complex, Sports Dr, , Nirimba at 28 May, 2024 10:00 AM . Respondents are required to register their attendance via email to tenderenquiries@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au Sun safe PPE recommended.
