Moama Overland Flood Study

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified consultants with experience in modelling and analysis to define existing flood behaviour in the study area of Moama. This project involves conducting a flood study, which is a comprehensive technical investigation of flood behaviour that provides the main technical foundation for the development of a robust flood risk management plan.

The objectives include assessing property flood risk, quantifying potential damage, and providing technical insights for the Council to prepare a Major Overland Flow Flood Risk Management Study and Plan. Additionally, the study seeks to develop a modeling system suitable for evaluating flood mitigation measures and future development plans within the area.
