Tender Description

Maitland City Council ("MCC") invites you to respond to their Request for Tender (RfT) for Floodplain Risk Management Study plan project.

MCC requests a Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan (FRMSP) for whole-of_the local government area (LGA) based on previously conducted reverine, local chatchment and over land flood studies.

The project comprises of data analysis, flood damage study, and development of a floodplain risk management plan in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

The objective of the study is to improve understanding of flood behaviour and impacts, and better inform MCC management of flood risk (through flood risk management, emergency management and land use planning) in the study area.

The project extends the flood study to a flood risk management study and plan, allowing an increased understanding of the impacts of floods on the existing and future community, and infrastructure within the LGA.
