Tender Description

'Rio Tinto requires a Vendor to complete design, supply and installation works to upgrade the Pannawonica Town Water Supply system.

The Vendor will be required to complete the following scope:

Carrying out engineering and design to replace existing bore panels.

New Bore Panels

• Replace the existing bore starter panels with new panels. The new panels will contain PLCs and Ethernet radios for telemetry communication in place of the existing Miri AD2000 telemetry units.

• Replace the existing Town Tanks telemetry control panel with a new panel. The new panel will contain a PLC and Ethernet radio for telemetry communication in place of the existing Miri AD2006 telemetry unit.

• Replace the existing Miri link between the Town Tanks telemetry control panel and the electrical workshop with a Cambium PTP 670 point-to-point link. The Cambium units will be networked to the new Town Tanks network switch and the existing workshop PLC.

• All existing bore system controls are to be replicated in the new PLCs.
