The University will soon release a tender for Ultra High Plex Tissue Imager (WS1269902217).

The University is seeking to purchase an ultra-high-plex spatial analysis platform for the high throughput, automated detection of protein targets on ex vivo tissue sections.

In general, the instrument must provide:

(1) A high-level of multiplexing (20+ markers; ideally supporting protein and RNA targets)

(2) Sufficient throughput to handle large studies and/or multiple users/projects

(3) Sufficient resolution to enable cellular, and potentially sub-cellular, resolution

(4) Provide quantitative measurements of target abundance

(4) Handle FFPE and frozen tissue sections from a large range of tissue types.

(5) A large addressable area to support large sections or tissue microarrays

(6) Produce data in an open, standard format to facilitate analysis by third-party software and open-source analysis approaches

(7) Facilitate optimisation of new reagents and reagent panels

(8) Be highly economical both for ongoing operations (e.g. service and instrument consumables) and research/experimental costs (e.g. antibody reagents, per-run consumables)

PROJECT TIMING

The tender will be released in the first half of May 2024 and be on open for 3 weeks.
