NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi invites Request for Information (RFI) from suppliers experienced in the design/supply/installation of luminaires and advising on creating a smart streetlighting ecosystem.
NZTA is to replace all high-pressure sodium bulb streetlights across the entire State Highway (SH) network with light emitting diode (LED) luminaires and to implement a Central Management System (CMS) to provide streetlight control and monitoring. NZTA is seeking to understand considerations for determining the most appropriate delivery approach and the supply market’s ability to meet the requirement.
Specific scope elements include:
• Supply of LED luminaires
• Installation Physical Works
• Supply of Lighting Control Units (LCU)
• Lighting design and design peer review services
• Central Management System (CMS)
RFI involves submitting a completed response form, advising company/consortium, contact details and answering questions for the purpose of information being sought by NZTA.
