The Department is developing a First Pass Business Case (the Business Case) to cover the on-boarding of the portfolio agencies to its shared service offering. It seeks the services of an external organisation to lead and facilitate this process (the Business Case Adviser).

The Business Case Adviser will provide specialist advice and services including producing all information and documents necessary to develop and submit a high-quality Business Case, which fully complies with the Australian Government’s ICT Investment Approval Process.

The purpose of the Business Case is to provide sufficiently detailed information about the benefits, costs, risks and range of digital and ICT implementation options available to the Department to enable an informed, in-principle decision on the preferred investment strategy to be made by government.
