This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

Within the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) and wider Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) a number of unique Audio Visual (AV) systems exist. ACSC requires an on-site ASD AV member present to meet AV requirements for the building.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Audio Visual Specialist role would be responsible for:

  • Obtaining relevant equipment from the specific storage area;
  • Configure, test, troubleshoot the equipment as appropriate;
  • install software and firmware as appropriate;
  • remove and dispose of recycled packaging materials;
  • providing advice and basic guidance to customers on use of audio visual equipment;
  • providing support, troubleshooting and rectification of AV services in the event of misconfiguration, equipment failure or outage;
  • make minor changes to network equipment to facilitate connectivity for AV services;
  • post transition from the Government Agency currently hosting the VTC network, participate in the design of an unclassified VTC network for the ACSC and assist transition AV equipment to this new network
  • triage and priorities ACSC AV support requests according to business priorities;
  • provide Bills of Material (BOM) for new installations to ACSC procurement staff for acquisition;
  • support the audio visual setup and pack-down of live events such as all-staff meetings;
  • sanities and dispose of classified equipment; and
  • Engage with other support areas within the ACSC to ensure outcomes are met.

Job Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • The Audio Visual Specialist must understands the responsibilities of the specialist deliverables including understanding of any other value adds or innovations that the contractor can provide to ASD
  • The systems, equipment, facilities, personnel and other resources of the Contractor available for performing the Services.
  • Understanding of physical networks and patching
  • Faultfinding and validate VTC systems
  • Experience working VTC systems across various capacities

The extent to which the respondent understands the responsibilities of the specialist deliverables including understanding of any other value adds or innovations that the contractor can provide to ASD.

Other requirements

  • Candidates require a Negative Vetting Level 1 AGSVA to perform the role. ASD will not sponsor candidates to upgrade their security clearances.
  • Candidates must be willing to undergo ASD’s Organizational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
