MidCoast Council (the Principal) is seeking Submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Design and Construct Contractors for playground design, and supply & installation of playground equipment along with all other associated civil and landscaping works for Endeavour Place Reserve, on the banks of the Manning River, in Taree.

MidCoast Council maintains 79 playground assets that represent a vast investment in Council’s recreation portfolio that supports passive recreation for those living and visiting the Mid Coast of NSW. Several Parks and reserves were damaged during the natural disaster events occurring in 2021 and 2022 and the Council has received funding to undertake resilient restoration for a number of these. As part of this program, Council has identified the need for a new play-space at Endeavour Reserve.

The Scope of Works calls for suitably qualified Design and Construct contractors to provide a breakdown price for the Design and Supply of all necessary trades, services, labor, plant, equipment and supervision required to undertake and complete construction works associated with the supply and installation of playground equipment, surfacing, footpath connections, furniture, bulk earthworks and landscaping and any other ancillary works for the proposed play-space at Endeavour Reserve.
