Tender Description

The Department of Health and Aged Care, Therapeutic Goods Administration Laboratories Branch, is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the supply, installation, maintenance and training required for ahigh-performance filter testing system with particle counting, sizing, and analysis capabilities primarily for testing facemasks and respirators (or their filter materials) at the laboratory facility located at Tindal Lane, Canberra Airport, ACT.

The successful Tenderer will be required to:

  • supply, install and commission a high-performance filter testing system with particle counting, sizing, and analysis capabilities primarily for testing facemasks and respirators (or their filter materials) on site.
  • maintain and service the new state-of-the-art filter testing systemin accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and any additional Agency specific requirements and provide Maintenance Service for the Maintenance Period.
  • provide comprehensive Documentation, as set out in the Requirement and Contract, including but not limited to:

           -Complete strategy and program for systematic execution of each item specified in the Requirement.

           -Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

  • provide comprehensive training as part of the Installation for the Agency end users and personnel involved in equipment maintenance and operation.

Tenderers must meet the following Essential Requirements:

  • The equipment must be able to test filters to state of the art Australian and international standards for Particulate Filtration Efficiency.
  • The tenderer must be able to install the equipment at the laboratory facility located at Tindal Lane, Canberra Airport, ACT, Australia.
  • The tenderer must be able to provide in-person support at the laboratory facility, in conjunction with remote support.
  • Documentation must be provided to support operation and troubleshooting.
  • Essential training must be provided to laboratory staff.
  • A maintenance period of a minimum of 2 years is to be provided by the tenderer.
