Expression of Interest: Kawai KG6C 7’4” Grand Piano

⁠⁠⁠Council is now seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals/organisations for a Kawai KG6C 7’4” Concert Grand Piano.

The instrument is constructed from ebony and other traditional materials, and includes hydration system and a heavy duty mobile roller frame. There is no stool.

Purchased new in 1980 the instrument served for many years both at South West Music Regional Conservatorium and at the Deniliquin Town Hall. It was tuned on a regular basis and professionally serviced throughout its history. It was professionally moved, legs disassembled, packed and placed in storage in 2001 and has remained there since.

The piano is in need of substantial restoration work to bring it up to concert standard.

In person inspection of the instrument, which is currently held in secure storage in Deniliquin, is by appointment only.

All collection and relocation arrangements and expenses at the successful EOI’s expense.

Collection must be arranged within 4 weeks of notification of successful EOI.

Expressions of Interest are to be in sealed envelopes marked EOI – Grand Piano and are to be placed in the tender box at the Edward River Council Office, 180 Cressy Street, Deniliquin or sent to Edward River Council, PO Box 270, Deniliquin NSW 2710 by 26 April 2024.
