- Like any large organisation, CSIRO has its own set of internal administrative groups that support the operations of the overall enterprise. In the case of CSIRO, we operate a set that includes areas such as finance, information management and technology, property services, human resources, legal, communications and other such administrative services.
- CSIRO is an institution that is now over 100 years old. As such the business processes used by our internal support groups to deliver their services have grown and evolved organically over the years.
- With such history around our processes, there are inevitably going to be opportunities for improvement. Over time, technologies change and work practices evolve. Processes that once were cutting edge and quite efficient could now be ready for the next stage in their lifecycle. At CSIRO, we are always on the lookout for better ways of working.
- With this RFI, CSIRO is exploring the market for process improvement service providers that specialize in enterprise support / business administration processes.
