Supply and Install - Alexandra Canal Depot Signage
Tender ID: 553374
Tender Details
Tender Description
This project aims to deliver standardised, compliant, and fit for purpose signage across Alexandra Canal Depot (ACD).
The Depot itself provides waste, maintenance and construction services for the southern city area. It is the home base for the City's operational teams Cleansing & Waste Services (C&W), Parking & Fleet Services (Fleet), City Infrastructure & Traffic Operations (CITO), City Greening & Leisure Parks Maintenance (Parks).
The existing interim signage at ACD was installed as a temporary measure to enable occupancy whilst a permanent signage solution was developed.
The City coordinated with a signage consultant to undertake a documented audit of the existing conditions, resulting in a refined signage suite and style guide (Appendix D) for use across all depots, and a design package to deliver for ACD (Appendix C).
Now that the design and scope are complete, this RFT seeks engagement of a qualified and experienced team to fabricate, supply, and install signage at ACD.
The City anticipates the project program to be 12 weeks from date of commencement and it is expected to be completed by the end of the calendar year 2024.
The Design Package scope includes delivery of 507 new signs (quantified in Appendix M) and an assortment of existing redundant signage for removal and make good. Most of the sign types are variations of similar forms and materiality.
