The South Wairarapa District Council (SWDC) is seeking a provider to:

1: manage Westhaven flat 1, piling and underpinning

2: replace slumped sewer drain located on the south side of flats 1 and 2, located at 190 West Street, Greytown 5712.

The Westhaven flats/units were built in 1968. There are six bedsit units 1-6 and are three separate buildings each consisting of two single level flats. The flats are timber framed with brick veneer cladding and a light roof.

Westhaven is one of four South Wairarapa District Council Housing for Seniors facilities that provide housing for the elderly and others in the community with special housing needs.

The chosen lead provider will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation for Westhaven flat 1, piling and underpinning and replacing the slumped sewer drain located on the south side of flats 1 and 2, 190 West Street, Greytown.

Undertake the design features report (DFR) defining the design criteria for the specific engineered design elements of the piling and underpinning foundation work.

Provide a PS3 at the end of the project covering the structural items shown on LGE Consulting drawings.

Replace slumped sewer main between flats 1 and 2 once the corner of flat 1 has been supported to arrest any further settlement while the sewer main is replaced.
