Tender Description
The Principal currently owns VH-NSW, a 1981 Cessna 421C aircraft for the purpose of acquiring airborne LiDAR and Imagery. The aircraft is fitted with a Leica Geosystems TerrainMapper2 (TM2) Airborne Multi-Spectral Hybrid Sensor and peripheral equipment (Note: the Principal may use alternate sensors during the contract period).
The Principal requires a vendor to provide:
1. A qualified, licensed and experienced pilot for VH-NSW. Who must be available to pilot the aircraft as and when required by the Principal (as required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), for this class of work or as may be additionally required by these specifications). The pilot shall hold a current commercial pilot licence with twin instrument flight rules rating endorsement and demonstrated experience in command of a conventional twin-engine aircraft.
2. Service and maintenance of VH-NSW, under Civil Aviation Regulations (as amended or replaced) and in accordance with the Civil Aviation Act 1988 as amended or replaced, and to fulfil any directives of CASA as required. Progressive maintenance will be noted in the aircraft logbooks and following the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance system.
