Tender Description

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) invites companies (Tenderers) to submit a tender for Contract No. 22C154, Construction of Marion Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive Intersection Upgrade.

Marion Road is a strategic north-south arterial road on the western side of Greater Metropolitan Adelaide, and Sir Donald Bradman Drive is a strategic east-west road providing access between the Adelaide Airport and the Adelaide CBD. • Improve efficiency on Marion Road and Sir Donald Bradman Drive to cater for current and future traffic volume demands, including expected demand during construction of the North-South Corridor.
  • Improve safety for all road users (private and commercial vehicles, public transport, pedestrians and cyclists).
  • Support urban growth opportunities by providing infrastructure that integrates and enhances current and future land use plans.
  • Enhance the sense of place through stronger integration of pedestrian, cycling and public transport movements within the local area.
