Council is seeking the professional services of a suitably qualified Bridge Inspector to undertake Level 2 and Level 3 Bridge Condition Assessments for bridges, bridge-size culverts and causeways across the Council’s road network.

Level 2 Assessments will be undertaken on all bridges, bridge size culverts and causeways nominated in this RFQ. Level 3 inspections and structural safety assessments will be undertaken on structures as required per recommendation from the Consultant and agreement from Council.

The Services under this RFQ include:

• Undertake inspections of all bridges, bridge size culverts and causeways nominated in this RFQ

• Produce and deliver to Council Level 2 Bridge Condition Assessment reports

• Fill out and complete the ‘Schedule of Bridges, Bridge-size Culverts and Causeways’ provided with this RFQ.

• Conduct, either directly or via sub-contactor, Level 3 Structural Safety Assessments on selected bridges and/or culverts. Such inspections will be conducted at the Consultant’s recommendation and agreement by Council.

• Produce and deliver to Council Level 3 Bridge Structural Safety Assessments with recommended course of action e.g. repair works, load reduction etc.
