Lismore City Council has a has a large stockpile of approximately 1025m3 (2460 tonnes) of Building & Demolition Waste at The Lismore Recycling and Recovery Centre (LRRC).

Council seeks a supplier to remove the existing stockpile.

Option 1: Load, Transport & Dispose of this pre-classified stockpiled material to an appropriately licensed site.

Or

Option 2: Pre-process (pulverize/crush) material on site, separating elements such as steel, and to load, transport & dispose of both the pre-processed material and any steel removed from concrete during processing.

It is Council’s preference to have a supplier pre-process the material onsite, as this reduces the impacts associated with disposing of the material to landfill.

The supplier will transport and dispose of both the processed material and steel to an appropriately licensed facility.

Option 3: Council is also seeking quotations for the supply of bins at LRRC for future building and demolition waste storage.

Suppliers are to provide a price for the supply and size of bins, and transport and disposal of Building and Demolition Waste in the bins to a licensed facility.
