Council is now inviting Tenders for the inspection of Council's Built Assets for the presence and condition of asbestos, for the purpose of updating Council's Asbestos Register over a period of 3 years. Removal and remediation services will be required on a risk-basis pending outcome of inspections and update of Register under a separate tender/contract. At Council's sole discretion, the inspection contract may be extended for a further period of 1 year.

Council reserves the right to award the business to one contractor or a panel of contractors qualified to provide these Services. Where the business is awarded to a panel of contractors, Council may exercise its option to extend the contract with one, many or all panelists.

All interested parties are invited to submit tenders in accordance with this Invitation to Tender.

Tenders must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements of this Invitation to Tender.
